Sea Salt For Beauty and Slimming

Sea salt, although is widely used in cosmetic, gourmet and as bath salts, you would probably be amazed that it has also found its way into beauty products.

Actually, it's not surprising if it does.

Sea salt, unlike table salt which we normally use for cooking, is obtained by evaporating sea water.

Since it's extracted naturally, it has tremendous benefits on your skin. Therefore, it is now been used as a beauty agent as well.

Now, how does sea salt works on your skin?

As An Antiseptic

Firstly, sea salt can act as an antiseptic. It kills germs very effectively.

Thus, if you have wound, applying it helps your wound heal much faster.

Wait a minute!

Adding salt to the wound?

Yes, it maybe a little bit painful at first, but the fact is - your wound will heal faster, and it will leave no wound marks.

So, what bad is there to add salt to the wound, right?

High Mineral Content And Multiple Functions...

Secondly, sea salt contains high concentration of potassium, sodium, chlorine, magnesium and 92 other essential minerals.

These minerals help increasing your metabolism rate, cleanse your skin deeply, and act as anti-inflammation and antiseptic agents.

Proksch E, Nissen HP, Bremgartner M, and Urquhart C from the University of Kiel's Department of Dermatology in Germany have examined volunteers who bathed in the sea salt solution and found them to have improved skin barrier function and reduced skin roughness and inflammation.

Therefore, they concluded that there is positive benefits of bathing in the sea salt solution mainly due to its high magnesium content.

As such, using it for your skin is likely to make your skin healthier, smoother and reduce inflammation.

It helps to reduce the size of the skin pores; removes oily skin, pigmentation, dead skins by boosting the function of your sweat glands and sebaceous glands.

These two gland systems function to help you remove aged and dead skins from your body, enabling the new skin to surface and breathe.

Imagine to show the world your new skin at anytime you want to...

Removes Fat Effectively!

Thirdly sea salt is known to also remove fat!

Although much researches are still needed to prove this, we have tested applying it in tummy areas; areas underneath the arm; hip areas etc, and found that it does help to inch down the size in matter of days.

This is not a surprise, since applying it on your skin also increases your metabolism rate. Increased metabolism rate means more fat will be burn in the process.

On top of that, sea salt has similar molecular structure as our blood cells, and when it is applied on your skin, it will be easily absorbed into the blood system and lymph through the skin.

It will then help to remove old cells, toxic and fat from the blood system and lymph, which leads to beauty effect as well.

For Beauty And Slimming

This may be new, but it is proven to have great benefits on your skin and slimming.

Therefore, it is highly recommended that you include sea salt blend in your beauty product collection. More so if you want to throw off some of those excessive fat from your body.

Natural Beauty Products

Effective Natural Beauty Products For Body, Face And Hair At Best Price

People say beauty is only skin deep, but even for this skin deep beauty to show through, one has to take a lot of care. Part of the care that our skin needs is a collection of body care products that can address the problems and enhance the beauty of our body, face and hair.
Chemical Cosmetic Products

News from around the world today is awash with warnings against using harsh chemicals on one's body. They are now considered to be amongst the prime causes of damage to one's skin and hair. They wash away the natural minerals and oils that are present and the harshness of the chemicals actually damages our skin and causes its degeneration well before time. While they may produce great short term results chemical based body care and even the so called best haircare products are very harmful in the long run.

Natural Products

Natural body care products, on the other hand, provide a far safer and effective alternative. Not only do they not cause any harm associated with chemical products, they actually enhance the beauty of our skin and hair naturally and effectively. And contrary to popular myths, natural products also have great short term results. You will never need to compromise on how good you look today in order to preserve your skin and hair for a later time.

Finding the Right Products

While looking for the best haircare products and skincare products in the market, one has to be careful in choosing the right products. To begin with, it is crucial to determine by reading the label or list of ingredients that the product is, in fact, made from all-natural ingredients. It is also important that the products have the right ingredients to suit your skin or hair type. If you have a problem like dry skin or hair fall, the product should be able to address that issue naturally and effectively. And most importantly, the products you choose should ideally exceed your expectations in terms of enhancing the beauty of your skin and hair.

Natural Skin Care And Cosmetics

Skin is called the largest organ of the body. Natural skin care is taking care of ones skin with products which are derived from natural ingredients such as flowers, roots, oils and herbs. These are combined with agents like surfactants, preservatives, emulsifiers and humectants. These are all carrier agents which occur naturally.

The classical interpretation of natural cosmetics amounts to products which are sourced from botanical resources (currently) formed by, and existing in nature. This aught to be completely free from the use of synthetic or machine made chemical agents. They are also supposed to be manufactured in a way, which preserves the purity of its ingredients.

Those who are particular about using natural products, usually make them at home from natural resources. However there is a big hype around natural skin care products in the modern world of cosmetics, and many skin care parlors and spas are completely focused on using naturally derived cosmetics. Many companies have also started making natural products and selling them in the market for skin care now.

Natural skin care products were first made in 4th millennium BC, in the Middle East and China. The Egyptians are also lauded for developing many unusual skin care treatments for a variety of skin ailments. Some popular natural skin care ingredients are rose hip, sun flower oil, jojoba, seed oil, aloe vera, witch hazel, beeswax, shea butter, tea tree oil and chamomile. Most of these natural skin care ingredients can be custom made for individual skin types like - oily skin, dry skin, sensitive skin etc. They can also be improvised and cultivated into quality natural products for different skin conditions.

Natural skin care means much more then the mere application of these lotions and gels on the body. This depicts a holistic philosophy, dedicated to all aspects of natural health care in terms of caring for the body. People who concentrate on the use of nature made products are less bothered about the artificial aspects of beauty care and believe in equating good health to real beauty.

Achieving Your Beauty and Wellness Goals With Liposuction

When diet and exercise aren't effectively able to get rid of stubborn, unwanted fat, many people consider liposuction. This procedure can have incredible results and help patients move beyond their struggles with weight loss. However, while surgery can remove fat, it does not offer a permanent solution. Instead, this type of procedure is most effective on patients who maintain a healthy exercise regiment and a balanced diet. If you're considering a cosmetic operation, it's important to maintain a healthy lifestyle before and after surgery to make the operation worthwhile.

While the immediacy of the results can be quite appealing, cosmetic work is not a quick fix. Unfortunately, some patients who treat it as such will find they can very easily regain the weight they lost from liposuction. Those who are interested in surgery should consult their doctors on the best ways to make the results last. Instead of thinking of the procedure as a weight loss solution, it's more accurate to think of it as contouring. Liposuction can reshape areas that have proven unresponsive to diet and exercise, but it does not make it more difficult for the body to put on weight. When patients understand this, they are more likely to be satisfied with the surgery and the results.

Having a healthy attitude is the first step towards transforming your body. If you have realistic expectations and are willing to do the hard work and exercise required to stay in shape, surgery can have incredible results. It can reshape stomachs, hips, and thighs, and give the body a more youthful appearance. Whether you already maintain an active lifestyle or are looking to leave bad habits behind, set realistic goals for yourself. Natural weight loss simply doesn't happen overnight. Stay focused on the goal at hand and consider cosmetic surgery only once you've established a healthy lifestyle.

If you've decided cosmetic surgery is right for you, there are many options available. Advances in medical science and technology have minimized some of the risks associated with liposuction. Doctors may offer tumescent liposuction and other advanced techniques. This procedure doesn't require full anesthesia. As a result, a blood transfusion is unnecessary. Instead, local anesthesia is administered directly to the fat needing to be removed. This minimizes blood loss and reduces the recovery time associated with the procedure. Advances in cosmetic surgery are happening all the time, and methods have been refined to limit the presence and visibility of scars.

When looking to deal with problem areas and improve your self-image, consult with a reputable surgeon who can advise you on your options. Whether you have a single concern, or you're looking to get rid of fat in several different areas, cosmetic surgery can truly deliver results. You'll see an improvement after a few weeks, but you'll continue to see the benefits for many months.

The History of Beauty Products

Annually billions of dollars are spent worldwide on beauty and cosmetic products. I am sure many of us often ask how we got to the point of making use of such products and when did it become standard to have to wake in the morning, bath or shower using soaps and gels, shampoos and conditioners and then before leaving home applying makeup and spraying on perfume and deodorant. Beauty and cosmetic products we know today came about due to thousands of years of mistakes as well as trial and error. Four thousand years ago the Egyptians believed that hygiene was an important aspect of the spirit and personal wellbeing.

The Egyptians were always neat as they were a society that valued their appearance and were also a very creative and inventive culture and they had the specific reasons behind the cosmetics and beauty products that were more than just making their appearance more beautiful. For example the Egyptians original eye shadow was made from a copper derivative. These dark shades were used around their eyes to ward off the evil eye and at the same time was an effective bug repellent and disinfectant. They also made use of kohl which was a combination of burnt almonds, copper, ash and ochre to adorn the eyes. They also applied a mixture of red clay and water to their cheeks and painted their nails with a yellow and orange henna chemical. It was well-known that the Egyptians bathed in milk and flower essence such as Neroli and others. Many of the ingredients used for their beauty regime proved to be fatal. Greek women also began following the Egyptians cosmetic and beauty rituals and started applying a pale hue that was direct based to their faces which once again proved fatal. Long after the Egyptian empire diminished the Romans began making use of sheep's heated body fat and blood to paint their nails. A dark tanned skin was associated with being peasants and pale white complexions the wealthy upper class. Men and women used a powder concoction of carbonate, lead oxide and hydroxide which was applied to their skin and faces.

Once again people suffered from lead poisoning. At the turn of the 19th century a chemist developed a zinc oxide combination that was extremely effective and produced creams and rouges. This combination is still used by beauty and cosmetic manufacturers today. Due to the benefactor of these fatal mistakes, there is an unlimited range of beauty and cosmetic products which has become a very competitive billion dollar industry.

Perfumes and Cosmetics - The ABC's of Makeup

Perfumes and cosmetics have been around for years. Women across the ages have always used cosmetic products to enhance their beauty. Since they have been around for so long, a vast array of products and uses have become available. Cosmetics range from eye shadow and mascara to nail polish and moisturizers.

A trip to your local department store can leave the average consumer mesmerized by the selection available. This guide will help you through the myriad products, and how to pick what is right for you.

We will start with facial makeup, and then move on to the eyes, and lips, and lastly, perfume.

Moisturizers: These are important as they help the skin stay moist, and prevents the skin form drying out, which is common when wearing make up. It is best to moisturize your skin every day, as it gives the skin a young, healthy, and fresh feel.

Concealer: This is a cream or powder that is skin colored, and is used to cover up scars, acne and any other blemishes on the skin.

Foundation and Bronzers: Foundation is also a skin toned cosmetic. It is applied to your face to create an smooth, even, color to your skin. The best foundations should not color your skin at all, rather it should just give it a natural look. Bronzer is a powder or cream that can be slightly darker than your natural complexion, This is used to give yourself a tanned look. Bronzers come in varying shades from fair to very dark.

Blush: Blush, also known as Rouge, is applied to the cheeks to give them a bit of color. These have mostly pink and red tints. Applying blush from the jaw upwards gives your cheekbones a more striking appearance.

Eyeshadow: Eyeshadows are applied by brush to the eyelids. Eye shadow can be applied above the eyes as well, up until the brow bone. You can choose from many striking colors for the lids, although it is best to use a more natural color for the area above the eyelid. Eyeshadows are available in all colors of the rainbow. You can use a blue eyeshadow to bring out your blue eyes, or purple to bring out green eyes. There are also many subtle tans, beiges, and browns if you are looking for a more natural look.

Eyeliner: Eyeliners usually come as a pencil or marker. They define the eye, giving it a dramatic look. Eyeliner Pencils give a bit more of a subtle shape, while the markers are more dramatic. It is recommended to use a light-colored liner, such as gray, for light-colored eyes, and a black or brown eyeliner for dark eyes,

Mascara: Mascara is makeup that is used to define, elongate, and thicken the eyelashes. It is applied by gently pulling the mascara brush through your eyelashes from the bottom up.

Lipliner: Lipliners are pencils that are used to draw the outline of the lips to give them a defined shape.

Lipstick and Lipgloss: Lipsticks look a bit like a crayon which is used to color the lips. Lipgloss is similar to lipstick, however it is more liquidy, and gives the lips more of a shiny look. Lipgloss can be applied on top of lipstick, or can be worn on its own.

To complete the make up, you need a great perfume. Similar to make up, there are hundreds of different scents out there, and you have to find one (or a few) that suit you best. It is worth trying out a few different perfumes to find one you are satisfied with. At most good perfume stores, they will have tester bottles and experienced salespeople that can help you chose what is right for you.

Free Radical Damage.
Free radicals are molecules that destabilize oxygen. The can enter the body by the air we breathe, the food we eat, and even our own bodies creates them. They attach to our cells and they do to our cells what the air does to a peeled fruit that we see turned brown.

And let's face it. Life itself will have its toll on us.

First, make health, fitness your daily objectives. Eat a healthy diet. You do not have to go overboard, just be in control. Omega 3 is a known anti aging natural supplement. It is also great for "heart health."

Exercise is so important. Fitness! The more fit, the less stress, the less aging will have its effect on us.

The best you can do for yourself is to know enough to understand what your doctor will be discussing with you.

Seven Secrets To A More Beautiful And Fairer Skin

If you want a rosy, soft, and young-looking skin, you have to work hard for it. You need to pay attention to what you eat, and what you put on your face to help ensure that your skin becomes as beautiful and soft as that of a baby.

People with lots of money to spend can always go under the knife and have a facelift, a series of microdermabrasion sessions, some Botox injections and other cosmetic procedures that will help prevent skin aging and maintain a youthful glow.

However, for those who only have a limited budget, there are other ways to achieve that healthy-looking and blemish-free skin. All you have to do is read and follow the seven secrets to maintaining a beautiful and young-looking skin enumerated below:

Drink Up And Be Merry

One of the signs of dehydration is dry and flaky skin. Thus, if you do not want to have dry, scaly and wrinkly skin, you have to ensure that you are properly hydrated. It is advisable to drink at least eight glasses of water everyday. If it is hot or you sweat a lot, you need to increase your water intake.

We all know that toxins are flushed out from our body through sweat and urine. Without proper hydration, accumulated waste products and toxins will find a way out of your body through your skin. Many skin problems, including acne and infections, are caused by your body's inability to get rid of toxins and waste products properly.

Zap Away Your Stress

If you are experiencing chronic stress, you won't be able to sleep well, you will crave for the wrong kinds of food, and you won't find time to take care of yourself. As a result, you will have poor health, dark circles around your eyes, sluggish bodily functions, and dry and older-looking skin. If you do not want to look like 30 years older than your real age, you better find ways to manage and beat stress.

Relaxation, meditation, regular exercise, Pilates, aromatherapy, soothing music, and even multivitamins can all help soothe your mind and body. However, the best way to beat stress is to have a positive mental attitude and all the support you can get from your family and loved ones.

Beauty Rest Is Best

If you want to remain ageless and beautiful, you need to have plenty of rest and sleep. When we sleep, our brain and other organs repair and restore damaged cells. If you do not sleep at least seven to eight hours a day, you are depriving your brain and body the much needed time to do their built-in restoration and rejuvenation functions.

Be Gentle On Your Skin

Many people think that by scrubbing their face roughly, they are helping remove blemishes, age spots and discoloration. Actually, intense scrubbing and scouring will not help banish dead skin cells nor bring out a beautiful and more youthful skin. Your face is very sensitive and should be dealt with as gently as possible. Forceful brushing, scrubbing and polishing of your skin will do more harm than good.

Don't Bask In The Sun

Liver spots, freckles, wrinkles and other blemishes and skin discolorations are brought about by excessive exposure to the sun, also called photo damage. With the thinning ozone layer, your skin is exposed to the damaging ultraviolet rays from the Sun. If you need to go out in the morning, you need a good pair of sunglasses and sunscreen with high SPF.

Go Green, Red And Orange

Colorful fruits and vegetables contain antioxidants that help fight sun damage and other harmful elements. You will wake up to a rosier, softer and youthful glowing skin just by increasing your intake of leafy greens, orange produce and red fruits to about five to seven times for a few weeks.

Don't Forget To Moisturize

You need natural skincare products that will help moisturize your skin. You also need products that will help fight the symptoms of skin aging. One product that can help make your skin clearer, brighter, and fairer is Lumnaderm. If you want to know more about this skincare product, just visit
